Life After COVID Zine

Commissioned by CRATE Space Margate, Samantha created a zine in response to “Life After COVID”. Funded by the Arts Council England, the project was a collaborative zine delving into the emotional themes of the pandemic from an artist’s perspective. After successfully winning the bid, Samantha planned the creative direction and timelines for production.

The aim was to create something many people could resonate with, especially conveying the chaotic atmosphere of the communication during the 2020 global crisis. After collecting over 30 responses of qualitative data, Samantha began producing pieces of work that displayed the central themes. The zine was well-received with copies on display at CRATE Margate, GrrrlZineFair and for view on the Arts Council England website for a period of time.
