Chelmer Housing Partnership

As the creative designer at social housing association, Chelmer Housing Partnership, Samantha was responsible for all visual communications. Brand guidelines were following and adapted for all outputs including; animated videos, illustrations, and graphic design. Samantha’s approach to design was cemented in her values about community. To develop the Essex Pride 2025 comms, she gathered qualitative data from the previous year’s attendees. Collating the words and phrases, she used them to create graphic icons that formed the patterns used across the various items used on the day.

She designed graphics for over 10,000 customers and stakeholders such as Bellway Homes and Essex County Council. Samantha demonstrated a key understanding of customer communications by working directly with the Chelmsford community. A key milestone was creating and implementing CHP’s new character illustration and animation style guide to create content that addresses customers’ biggest concerns such as anti-social behaviour.

At Studio Isikhati, the balance between adherence to existing guidelines whilst pushing the boundaries is well understood.
